For over a decade, I passionately seek out all investment personalities with confidence, expertise and insight. As part of your executive team, we will partner with your CPA's and attorneys to coordinate the components of your entire financial picture, making a positive impact on generations to come.

Most notable accomplishments include the marriage to my beautiful wife Melanie going on 17 years and the birth of my wonderful boys Samuel and Isaiah. Our hobbies include exploring the great outdoors as well as our appreciation for the arts, theater and music. We also enjoy a worship experience that adds great value to our lives.

Community involvement is very important to me. I am on the Board of Visitors for the School of Business at Georgia Gwinnett College. Furthermore, I was appointed by former Commissioner Marlene Fosque  to serve on the SPLOST Citizens Project Selection Committee overseeing the funding of transportation projects throughout Gwinnett County.  I have been involved in various non-profit organizations throughout Georgia and Tennessee such as Gwinnett Chatt outreach, Preface, The Urban League, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Operation Hope.  Finally, I am a proud member of Rotary International.

Education and learning is high on my list of priorities. In 2009 I earned a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Management from Covenant College followed by a Master’s in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University in 2014. I achieved my CFP® designation in 2015 and continue to feed my appetite for learning through ongoing trainings, workshops and books.

As a Sr. Wealth Advisor with more than 14 years of financial services experience, over a decade of private office management, and more than five years of successfully recruiting and placing financial and accounting professionals; Mike joins Nvestfit as its Operations Manager where he will work closely with the President on strategic planning and tactical execution of key growth and recruiting initiatives to drive the firm’s “Grow slow to grow fast” mantra. Other key initiatives include branding, roll out of the firm’s ‘Financial Fitness’ coaching program, and leveraging Mike’s recent experience as a candidate for Hamilton County, TN District 5 Commissioner to advance community engagement efforts.  

Mike has valued the idea of educating his clients on financial literacy and helping them grow in their understanding of wealth and financial security ever since he returned to the financial services industry in 2009.  Reflecting on his years in the business, he says, “I discovered it fulfilled my personal need and desire to help people.  With that, I feel like the profession chose me.” 

An entrepreneur at heart, Mike relishes challenges that lead to personal and professional growth.  In 2015, he founded an insurance and recruiting agency, and in the following year explored an opportunity with an international leader in recruiting to explore synergies and possible opportunities that exist between career progression and financial security. In 2022, Mike ran his first campaign as a candidate to represent his district on the Hamilton County, TN Commission where he placed runner-up. At Nvestfit, he will bring together all of his skills, experiences, instincts, and business acumen to provide clients comprehensive financial advice and help establish Nvestfit as a recognized leader in the financial services business.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Bethel University. He currently serves as the VP for the Chattanooga chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, where they address the professional development and career progression needs of their members in order to build leaders in the business community. Mike also serves as a deacon at his church, Westside MBC. He and his wife, Chandra, have two daughters and live in Chattanooga, TN.  While Mike has many interests, he spends most of his free time with his family and friends.
